Glad you asked….!  Here are simple and basic steps to help you start your own email campaign.
There are three basics strategies to marketing campaigns to start showing results:
  1. Creating a list of individuals who will want to receive the message of your business;
  2. Crafting the message so that it’s not though of as spam; and
  3. Creating an effective system which will get the message into your viewers inbox.
Here is a guideline that can assist you run an e-mail marketing campaign correctly:

Step 1: Getting Started

Just get started!  There is a misconception there has to be a marketing professional in order to implement an e-mail marketing campaign successfully. E-mail marketing is a lot easier than it sounds. Once you’ve decided to create an e-mail marketing campaign, the next step for you is to start consolidating the names and emails. That is the easy step because Welcome New Neighbor, Org. has all the e-mails in a .CVS spreadsheet for you.

Step 2: Creating an E-mail List

In case you are not part of Welcome New Neighbor, Org., you’ll need a list of names and e-mail addresses to get started.  Start by gathering together all of your contact information and names into one identifiable spot. You can use a free service such as MailChimp or a paid service Constant Contact.
This is not difficult and thus you do not require a computer science degree for you to use a database. You can use Microsofts Excel Spreadsheet or anything else which you know how to operate well. Using a database to manage all your names will make you see the different e- mail addresses that you already have. You can also begin with you business rolodex and a list of current and previous potential consumers.

Step 3: Create & Send Your Message

Once all of your contacts are downloaded into your CRM software, its time to create your message.  MailChimp and Constant Contact have great templates you can use to help craft your perfect message.  Think about what you’d like to share, what interests your customers have and why they come in to buy from you.  Once you’ve finished your message, you may send it immediately or schedule a date and time for your email to send.
